I think the sniper glint really breaks the realism but unfortunately something is necessary to stop spawn camping and other such negative behaviors. The current setup really plays into the run and gun playstyle instead of favoring tactical engagement because as soon as you look down sights you are glinting. I think a better system would be to create a sniper specific enemy marker that illuminates when a sniper fires and stays above the sniper's head longer and longer each time they fire without relocating. That would allow a player to find a good tactical location and set up for some shots before everyone knows exactly where they are and where to aim. But would punish them for staying in one place for too long.

Thanks for the response, I’ve been inspired to share additional suggestions to further improve the game.
Gameplay Mechanics
- Rank System: The current leveling system feels generic, relying solely on "Level" progression without the iconic military ranks from Battlefield 3 and Battlefield 4. Reintroducing ranks like Private, Sergeant, or Colonel would add a sense of achievement and nostalgia, making progression more rewarding.
- Death Screen: When killed, the current death screen only shows a red enemy silhouette, which feels underwhelming. In Battlefield 3 and 4, the camera tracked the enemy, providing useful context about their position and actions. Reverting to this approach would improve situational awareness and immersion.
- Recon Class - Sniper Scope Glint: The sniper scope glint in the beta feels exaggerated and unrealistic, especially on night maps where it still appears prominently. While glint is a good balancing mechanic, it should be toned down and disabled or reduced on night maps to maintain realism.
- Support Class - Equipment and Medic Role: The Support class in the beta feels underpowered, limited to a mobile shield with minimal impact. Reintroducing the Mortar from Battlefield 3 and 4 would give Support more utility in controlling key areas. Additionally, as the Support class doubles as a medic, reviving teammates should be streamlined. Pressing "E" near a downed teammate should automatically trigger the defibrillator, as in previous titles, rather than the new drag-and-drop mechanic, which feels clunky and unintuitive.
- Thermal Scopes: If Battlefield 6 includes thermal scopes, they should function authentically by allowing visibility through smoke, as this is their core purpose. Nerfing this ability would diminish their tactical value, so I hope DICE preserves their full functionality.
Map Design
- Map Exploits: Some players are accessing unintended areas of maps via glitches, gaining unfair advantages at elevated positions. These map exploits need to be fixed to ensure fair gameplay and maintain the integrity of map design.

the same thing, only for the number of shots per unit of time. The more shots fired, the better you can see. And the calculation zone (diameter) should be taken, for example, 50 meters.
