Like i said in a post before, they have the recipe for a great game (bfbc2 & bf3). Still they manage to screw it up somehow with so called 'innovations' and 'progress' and 'appealing to new audiences'.
Gues what, if a game was great back then, it will still be great now, the 'new audience' will get that once they play it. Just have to upgrade the graphics a little. Its like great music,... Bob Marley still sounds great to me even after so many years. Like chess,... still a great game, no need to change that!
They made a shallow fast paced cod-style shooter with absolutely no long term fun to be found anywhere.
Solution would be to lower the player count or to make the maps bigger so the pacing of the game slows down. But i'm afraid they're already too far into this mess they created. And then they sell it as 'battlefield is back'!
They've never been further away from battlefield at the moment imo.
