Critical Issues That Must Be Fixed Before Launch

I’m posting this because the issues in the Battlefield 6 beta aren’t just small annoyances — they’re core gameplay problems that will hurt the game at launch if they aren’t fixed. I’ve seen these happen repeatedly in my own matches, and I’m seeing other players report the same. This is a serious, detailed breakdown of what needs to change before release.

Below is a breakdown of the most serious issues I encountered during the beta. Every one of these happened more than once, across different matches, and they all have a direct impact on gameplay balance, fairness, or overall enjoyment.

1. Movement speed – Sprinting and overall movement are noticeably faster than in previous Battlefield games. This shortens engagement times and removes a lot of the tactical pacing Battlefield is known for.

2. Time-to-kill (TTK) – Most rifles and SMGs can drop a player in under half a second at close–medium range. This makes gunfights end too quickly and gives little chance to react.

3. Vehicle respawn logic – Destroyed vehicles are returning too quickly, letting them dominate infantry with almost no downtime between spawns.

4. Mini-map placement – The mini-map is currently placed in a way that forces you to look away from the fight. Moving it to the top-right corner would make it easier to glance at without losing focus on the action.

5. Audio clarity – Footstep audio is unreliable. Enemies nearby can be completely silent, while distant footsteps can be overly loud, making it difficult to judge distance and direction.

6. Spawn system – Spawns sometimes place players directly in enemy line of sight, resulting in instant deaths. In other cases, spawns are far from objectives in open terrain with no cover, wasting time getting back into the fight.

7. Sniper quick-scoping – Some sniper rifles can aim down sights quickly enough to be highly effective in close-range fights. This gives them a role they weren’t intended for and unbalances CQC encounters.

8. Aim assist on PS5 – Even with aim assist enabled, it feels inconsistent. Tracking moving targets is harder than it should be, and the slowdown effect when aiming near enemies is too weak to be helpful in close engagements.

These issues need to be addressed before launch to protect the core Battlefield experience. EA  please acknowledge this feedback and let the community know what changes you’re considering. Players  if you’ve experienced the same problems, reply here so this thread gets the attention it needs.
