By the amount of helos that take off and fly backwards makes me think there are a TON of non Battlefield players playing the beta, which was their goal I guess so they succeeded so far.
Something just feels off, the maps, the layout the flow it feels a lot like how COD conquest felt, very bland, the map is trying too be too many things at once but in a small form factor. It's doing a lot of things really well, the details, the movement, the gunplay (although too much emphasis on hipfire), the graphics.
You can have some epic pushes for flags for some epic Battlefield moments but they are so rare, think the maps are mostly to blame here. The 2042 maps are way too big in scale but they had the classic Battlefield design, so far the beta maps are just not capturing that Battlefield feel. And from the lineup of maps releasing in oktober only Firestorm seems to be the most Battlefield map of the bunch, which is a copied map layout from BF3.
Liberation Peak would have been epic with some sort of interior flag in a tunnel or bunker, that adds flanking options and cover.
Iberian offensive is close to what a Battlefield map should be, big open flank and flags scattered in the city but it's the scale that is off.
Siege of Cairo is just more of the same, the dust kinda ruins the open areas and the size and angles just leads to many unvoidable shots in the back.
They all share a similar issue and that is scale. It almost feels like the soldiers are too big for the streets like being in a miniture sized map, you get too places quickly even on foot. And just makes being in a vehicle feel so out of place, sometimes feels you can barely move or even turn your cannon.
