Essay feedback
Overall I liked game. I loved maps and how they feel. Action packed, people working together. And I will buy game both on PC and PS5 but here are few things that can be changed to make game even better.
- Audio should receive a little bit of fine tunning. Mostly audio clues like footsteps and vehicle sounds. Many times Abrams, a tank was silently passing by. Many times soldiers running were completely silent. This needs tuning audio clues are important and makes me aware enemies
- Kill and hit sound could be changed for more rewarding sound. I liked coins sound of BF1. Make something similar, especially for headshots. It makes killing more satisfying. Normal body hit could also make this Rising Storm 2 Vietnam sound of hitting body with something. People who played know that game makes sound like you have hit human flash with something and head often sounds like hitting metal helmet
- C4 and some other explosives could be a bit better, you need direct hit with them to kill. Some splash damage is needed
- Sniper glit is too big
- Vehicle – controls on consoles are bad. They don't make any sense. Turning tank left or right doesn't turn them, it makes tank go in that direction.
- Vehicle – balance is needed. They feel wrong. Heli is strange to fly Gunners gun is weak too, especially since every engineer can carry rpg and stinger. Tank gun does little damage to infantry and lmg too much. Bradly is weak af. It should be anti infantry imo. And they stuck on everything. Rather make them fearsome in damage but when flanked it's good bye
- Vehicle – getting shot in back or side or under 90° should make more damage. Since you could buff them in damage, make them killale easily if you flank them
- Vehicle – you should be able to disable them
- Vehicle – customization is gone?
- Classes should be locked if you ask me. Maybe make each class have one or two options like BF4 had. Example : Medic LMG or Carbine and Shotgun, Engi SMG, Shoty and Carbine. Assault, AR, Shoty and DMR, Recon Sniper, DMR and Shotgun
- Engineer have too many RPGs. And it should not have both RPG and Anti air. Make 3 per player and add them do more damage if you shot vehicle at right place. Stinger oneshot but reduce number of them to two
- Granade animation and how you throw them need rework. You pull them too quickly and they have one of worst animations I have seen. Not only that but I can never accurately throw it, it's like each time it have random path
- Parachute is not paraglider, you should slowly drop down and not fly forward like you have paraglider or wingsuit
- Cairo roof glitch. make this map out of bound if you reach certain height. This way you got rid of roof campers. Or just fix how you go up
- Options menu is terrible and confusing, needs few adjustments. You go from menu to another menu, to another menu. Then if you want to go back in throws you on first page again. And some things seems to be so hidden.
- Minimap - Let me increase minimap even more if I want to
- PS5 adaptive triggers can't be disabled in game. I want to disable trigger motors when shooting. I know I can in PS5 settings, but I use this in single player games, but not in multiplayer. So please DICE add option to disable this
- Matchmaking is taking long, 2 minuts and more sometimes. It is apparently 500k players but it takes longer than BF2042 for example. So server browser would be nice
- Server browser is must imo
- Visual clutter, there is a lot of things obstructing your sign. I know that's why auto highlight or spotting was added, but still image is not as clear as in previous games. From friendly soldier outlines and icons often being on other side confusiong you if it's enemy or not. To other things like supernova sun, sunlight, dust and overdone exposure
- Auto exposure is thing of past, human eye doesn't do that. It do need to adapt to light difference but not at level it is present in game. It often goes from dark to not seeing anything even in open ground.
- Blue, yellow, grey filter is way too noticeable should be lowered a bit. Image in game in general is not crystal clear and then you slap those filters in game, why? Why not making game clear as human eye see like BF1?
- Sun ok some maps make game look washed out. Correct this please.
- Maps in beta were small but I liked them. Even Empire state for a change if we consider there will be bigger maps too.
-Modes - rush should stay 24p or 32p mode it was always best and most tactical this way. Breakthrough or Frontlines are here for more players. They are for 48-64 and more of a meat grinder. Just like CQ.
- squad rush- this mode is what I would like to see. It's very competitive and could be esport mode!
So overall game is good and reminds me of BF3 a bit. Performance was great both pc and ps5. But could be even better with some of things listed above.
