Feedback and suggestions Beta BF6

Thus far, I’m very pleased with the game and it feels like a strong step forward for the series. I’d like to provide some focused feedback on weapons and bugs I’ve encountered during my time in the beta.

Starting with weapons: the LMG as the primary weapon for the support class feels counterintuitive to its intended role. Support is often rushing to revive downed teammates, and a heavy, cumbersome gun slows that down. An SMG seems like a better fit, allowing for a faster draw and quicker response in close-range situations where a teammate needs help. On top of that, LMGs currently feel underpowered at close range. Given their heavier caliber, they should deal more significant damage up close, but right now they take more hits than expected to drop an enemy. Lastly, RPG splash or proximity damage feels almost nonexistent. Rockets that hit near enemies, or even fired at the ground in close quarters, should cause area damage. Sometimes sacrificing yourself with a rocket to take out a flanker should be a viable option, but that doesn’t work as intended right now.

As for bugs: I’ve run into a recurring audio issue where, from match to match, the overall game sound becomes almost muted. Gunfire and explosions are still audible but at a much lower level than they should be. The only way I’ve found to fix this is by fully rebooting the game. Another bug occurs when being revived—my weapon will sometimes completely disappear. While I can still fire, I can’t see the weapon, can’t tell where it’s aimed, and aiming down sights doesn’t function. It does create a funny “wizard firing bullets from thin air” moment, but obviously it’s not the intended experience.

Overall, the game feels great and I’m enjoying the beta, but I think adjustments to weapon roles/damage and fixes for the bugs mentioned above would make the experience even stronger.
