Feedback for both of the beta sessions
I would rate my beta experience a 8 out of 10.
PC specs: i5 12600k/ 7600 XT/ 16 (4x4) GB DDR4 2400MHz/ 2 To NVME
-The game is beautiful and quite optimised, but I've had my share of little freezes when huge (close) explosions or buildings falling happened. Nothing major; it was still playable but not smooth.
-The sound spatialisation is good in terms of distance appreciation, but I found it not precise in terms of direction, especially when on different floors (I've no problems in other games like Squad or Tarkov)
-My time to death was sometimes an issue; I would say that maybe 10% to 15% of the time I died to a 4/5 ammo kill; it felt like a one-shot
-I don't feel that SMGs must have more recoil; they're little calibre after all. LMGs, on the other hand, have far too little recoil. I think they should have much more recoil but a far greater suppression effect on enemies
-Point C on Liberation Peak is really sided for the team that starts around the F and E points. Even though this team often arrived after, once taken, this point is really hard to retake in a frontal assault since the F-side team has the high ground and an HESCO tower. Progression from point A or B provides too little cover. Even a flank can be difficult since the mountain and point F provide really good sniping positions
-About weapon optics, I feel that there is no drawback when you take an x3 or x5 zoom. When firing full auto, magnified optics should be shakier to give me a reason to pick non-magnified ones
-This point is personal and a bit specific, but I often play with more than 3 friends, and I would really like a way to create a "several squad party" that allows for a +4 people group, an easier way to join the same game, and a way to identify the other "friend squad(s)" with a different colour than the blue for team or green for squad.
Overall I had a great time, and I'm really looking forward to the game release!
