Feedback on the Battlefield 6 Open Beta
Dear Battlefield 6 developers,
As a big fan of the Battlefield series, I have intensively tested the Battlefield 6 Open Beta and invested around 40 hours in it. I would like to share my feedback with you to further optimize the gaming experience.
Infantry and Vehicles:
First, regarding the infantry: I think it would be great if the infantry had more support options, similar to Battlefield 2042 with the Ranger or vehicles that can be called up.
Another point is the jeeps. Visually, they look too much like safari vehicles for a war scenario, especially since they have no doors or windows. This makes them vulnerable to explosions in combat. I would prefer them to be more customizable, for example, with smoke grenades, radar systems, or repair options. Furthermore, fully enclosed vehicles would be more realistic and offer better protection against snipers.
Tanks and Destruction:
The tanks could also be improved. I miss the tactical equipment from Battlefield 2042, like the mortar in slot 3 and the scanner in slot 4. These options are crucial and should be available again in Battlefield 6. Currently, the rear seats in the tank seem useless, as you just sit there and can't do anything—it feels more like a taxi ride and is inconvenient for the team.
I also miss the Active Protection System (APS), which the driver can activate to protect the tank from RPGs and rockets for six seconds. This is especially important because tanks are currently very weak and get destroyed quickly.
Finally, I'd like to address the destruction options. In the trailer, the hammer for destroying walls and the ladder for climbing up them looked fantastic. It's a shame these features were missing from the beta. To convince players to buy, you should showcase all the features.
I hope this feedback helps you make Battlefield 6 an outstanding game.
Sincerely,
Dr1EviLs
