I’ll start it off by sharing one of my favorite memories from BF4. We had a huge squad together, about 8 of us in a server and after switching teams to get on the same side, we managed to run a clans server over and over. It was amazing. Just seeing all of our clan tags lighting up the top spots was great. We would call out what objective we were running to and just a big squad locking down all the areas. From flanking objectives to spawn trapping, it was amazing. You don’t get this in COD. Running from one objective across the map to another without seeing any enemies to completely catch them off guard, and then surprise them with 7 or more other team mates hiding in the shadows ready to strike is something amazing and what makes battlefield so much better than the rest. There is actual strategy not just 180 no scope locking down a lane glitch head shoting people. That’s COD. Flanking and sneaking is battlefield. Playing the objective and not worrying about KD is battlefield. Trying to revive someone, heal someone, resupply someone, mark someone, and calling out objectives is battlefield. Persistent servers is battlefield. SBMM is literally everyone else.
