I wondered what was missing in sniper land, and now that you mention the attachments, I Agree.
The glint is pretty pronounced (it's helped and hindered). Although the glint is so big that it's harder to hit head shots when they're prone, maybe that's the balance.

I know this is an older build of the game, and glint is on the list of things to adjust, and I don't necessarily mind it. But I would like to see it used better. Since they insist on keeping "sweet spot" (I can only think it's to help people who kinda such at sniping), I would like to see the glint tied to that. Moreover, I would like to see the glint be influenced by two essential factors:
- Glass exposure to sunlight. If I'm looking towards a light source shining at me, I expect a glint. If I am sitting inside a building against a back wall, or tucked into a bush under a tree with the sun to my back, it makes MUCH less sense to have my scope looking like the light on the Luxor hotel.
- Threat level. If I have a fatal headshot lined up and it will kill the enemy, AND the light is not in my favor, I think it is okay for a quick flash of scope glint (modulated by light exposure and use of anti-glare coatings) as a way of allowing the player to react...but it needs to be a short one-time thing like the counter-knife option in BF4. If the player misses it, that's on them for not paying attention.
