Helicopters Shouldn’t Fly Like UFOs: Feedback from a Battlefield Pilot
I write this as someone who has 895 hours of helicopter flight experience in Battlefield 2, 3, and 4, and who has killed 39,670 people as a pilot. I can say this based on my own observations and the experiences of my invited friends that the helicopter in this game lacks driving dynamics.
The helicopter moves left and right, forward and backward, almost like a UFO.
No helicopter can fly like a block of ice sliding through the sky, like a leaf blown by the wind. A helicopter has weight, and normally, when you dive, you calculate long in advance when you need to climb back up. We want realistic driving dynamics and realistic mechanics.
This ridiculous flying style was similar to Battlefield 2042, and despite our feedback, nothing changed, and that's why I never played it.
If this game is released in this form, I'll reiterate my feedback by stating here that I won't be buying it, as a true Battlefield fan.
