I Shout this Beta Feedback from the Mountain Tops
Thank you SO MUCH for all the ways you listened to feedback since 2042 had issues!!! ✅ ✅✅
1 - Class system returned! ✅ However... Unlocked Weapons (ability for any class to use any Primary Weapon) breaks down the class system. Locked should have been the standard, with Unlocked being a bonus/smaller mode.
2 - Catching your breath (healing without med kits/stims) is almost instantaneous. Playing carefully in VS modes is historically a big part of Battlefield, VS Call of Duty. Firing on enemies and inflicting damage should suppress and cause repositioning and teamwork in order for them to heal. For comparison:
- (From BF3's Wiki: "Regeneration begins 16 seconds after taking damage, at a rate of 5 hp/sec. If the player exits the range of a medic kit without full health, the regeneration begins after 12 seconds.") BF3 may heal too slowly for 2025, but BF6 is TOO FAST.
3 - Defibrillator is "Godmode." It's practically full-auto kills and revives in a massive blanket. Give it a moment to recharge before firing again, or something.
4 - What happened to the Kill / Headshot / General Accomplishments Notifications? CENTER THEM! BRIGHTEN THEM!! They used to be 49% of the satisfaction of accomplishing something! See attached picture!!!
- Overall HUD notification opacity was way too low. They're notifications - let me see them.
5 - When I "Request Ammo" or "Request Healing" my blip should flash on SUPPORT players' mini maps, and support players' blips should flash on MY mini map.
6 - After the match, let me see my accolades. If I got a "M4A1 Excellence Ribbon" or "Headshot Ribbon" or "Tank Buster Ribbon" I want to know about it! Maybe more opacity for text in post-match stats?
7 - Even though Assault Class more-or-less gets a second primary weapon as a gadget, I think they should get 1 more magazine for their primary.
8 - Main menu "Tiles" take up so much space. You can never include all of the options. Featured Modes? Just give me a list! Devs love it and players hate it.
9 - This is the most ambitious of all suggestions, not drawn from the beta: Mouse/Keyboard needs a "custom reticle" for piloting jets. There should be an aimable circular pointer on the HUD, so that if I move that pointer lower on the screen, the jet pulls up (or down depending on inverted flight) so I can continuously pull up, without having to pick the mouse up and set it down for continuous turns or loop-dee-loops. If I point it to the right, my jet will roll. Diagonals will be a mixture of the two. The severity of my pull-up/down or roll will depend on how far my cursor is from my plane.
