I dont know why they are going out of their way to push open weapons when Its clear we have been screaming at them to have it be closed. Signature weapons need to be locked to their classes. We dont need sniper/support or assault/engineer. That was part of the reason why people hated 2042. I dont care if you have open weapons modes but you need to offer the same for closed weapons for ALL modes not just a few. Also stop hiding it in the UI.

just play the closed weapon mode? they said we can have both, so just do that?
I agree that class locked weapons should be forced. With the occasional bonus modes here and there that allow unlocked weapons.
It's one of the ingredients that made battlefield unique and it works.
Battlefield beta week 2 would seem to indicate they are going to leave it as open, since there is a standalone conquest mode with open weapons and anything to do with locked weapons is mixed up with other modes.
Unfortunately that is a very good point and probably why they won't.
But we can't the only closed weapons mode they currently have as an option is a random selection between conquest or breakthrough you dont even get to pick. Its not in the custom search either.
Wtf does weapon skins have to do with locking signature weapons to their classes?
Because if its open, people can use their skin/weapon combo for whatever class they play.

I do not want closed weapons, I do not trust the community with the responsibility to pick gadgets over their favorite guns, so I rather if they pick the class for the gadgets and keep their favorite gun
Why you need to cut options from people? What is this obsession? Why dont you use the weapons you want and let anyone use the weapon they want. How this make game more fun? If you cut the fun from players to use what they want. Rhetorical questions, I know there will be not any logical conclusion to this.
