Re: Siege of Cairo Roofs
I suggest having these rooftops "Out of Bounds" to deny people from staying up in those areas, UNLESS the dev team decides to create an easy access point to them, like staircases or ladders.
Been seeing YT shorts of different content creators showing the ability to get on top of the rooftops in Siege of Cairo. This is possible due to that certain objects on walls that are capable of being destroyed, have objects that could be mounted on. Granted, some of these paths can be destroyed to deny access to the roofs, but not all of them.
The best way to describe which areas would be using the "Breakthrough" modes and their sections. And notable, being capable of setting a spawn beacon on these roofs is absurd.
On the very first area, you're able to get on the rooftops near both A and B sites. B site rooftops is extremely overpowered because you're able to hold down pushes from the attackers spawn, going into the mid section, the main area to push B, and the small alley that leads to mid section near B. Not only that, you can hold down B site, the Defender's spawn area outside B, the Attacker's push area into B, and the side alleyways going into B.
Going into the 2nd area, you can traverse from both sets of rooftops to the next line that overwatches A. With the Support class's Deployable Shield, you can set it down on the scaffold next to the highest building to get access to it. This highest building has a direct sightline into the Defender's main alleyway to the objective point. The building can partially be destroyed, but anyone on it can easily avoid it and stay up there.
Now the 3rd area, I wasn't able to find anymore spots nor have I seen any content creators showcase it to my knowledge, but there could be an access point somewhere using the objects on the walls in the alleyway that leads to Defender's spawn near A or the back building line near B.
Now the first signs of being able to get on the rooftops that I scene on YT, is on the final section of Siege of Cairo's "Breakthrough" map layer. It seems that the Defender's are the only ones to have access to this spot and it's the overpass bridge that goes above the 3rd area's B site and overwatches the final A point. This is actually position between the 3rd and final area, so as the Attacker's pushed into the final A point, Defenders who are set up on the bridge can shoot them from behind.
