Recoil vs Bloom
I know many have commented on the lack of recoil to the point it is already being reworked but here is my take on the issue.
Typically i have always been in favor of recoil over bloom. Feeling that recoil takes more skill and and giving the edge to the person with better aim and control. Whereas bloom can be more up to chance, but still having a skilled factor in controlling burst of fire to help control the bloom.
But over the years and many shooters i have played i have come to appreciate bloom more for what it is. And a lot of that comes down to one major factor. Recoil control is one of the easiest and most popular things for cheats to bypass and can be done with hardware making it almost impossible to detect with anticheats. In any game with recoil, having ZERO recoil is a huge advantage. But bloom is not something easily taken advantage of. Even if someone had scripts to perfectly control a burst to minimize bloom it wouldnt be nearly as big of an advantage.
So before people rush to the nerf bloom and increase recoil side of things, As logical as the (recoil control is more skilled) argument is. The fact the bloom helps even the playing field vs people that take advantage of recoil makes it have a unique upside in that perspective.
