Yeah if they would just remaster the maps from bf3 and bfbc2... Why always the need to reinvent the wheel?
Yes, they absolutely need to bring back the classic Battlefield experiences. The potential for Portal is massive, and if used right, it could bring back a huge player base. Imagine having maps and full armies from BF3, BF4, BFBC2, BF1942, BF2, and BF2142 — all in one game. Now take it a step further: a massive Conquest mode on huge open maps where 2 ,3 ,4 different armies battle each other for territory control like squad deathmach. That’s the kind of innovation that would make Battlefield truly stand out again.
100% agree on the first part! Add all the maps from 2-3-4., or as many as possible. Caspian border, Noshahr Canals and Arica harbour are ready to go from 2042, add strike at karkand and kharg island, Operation firestorm is coming... That sounds like a good battlefield game to me!
The second part i'm not so sure about. We've all seen what 128 players on a map look like. It becomes a circus...
But I think they can add armies too from BF2 BF 2142 and Bf1942
