Suggestion for being dragged for revive

Because technically you are not able to be targeted or damaged while being revived/dragged. This will mean you can shoot at people while invincible. The alternative is to allow the downed player to have HP and be damaged, which then means you will likely die from a stray round while being dragged away. This is great for realism, but defeats the purpose of the drag to cover and revive mechanic.
Presently, I feel as though the drag is in a great place in the gameplay loop, that allows you to be taken from a dangerous position and brought back to a safe location for you to stand and get your bearings instead of being revived in a doorway to immediately be gunned/grenaded/rpged back to death. Part of that loop relies on you being invincible while downed.
