I don’t agree with the idea that "Ground vehicles, including MBTs and IFVs, are too fragile." My experience says otherwise.
Vehicles like tanks and APCs aren’t meant to be reckless flag-chargers. Their real strength comes from teamwork, positioning, and playing smart. Tanks provide cover and pressure, while APCs offer mobility and powerful mobile spawn points—especially useful on tougher maps.
If someone sneaks up with C4 or you get overwhelmed by ATs, it’s usually a positioning or awareness issue. You’ve got to adapt—reposition, use cover, and don’t just sit exposed. This isn’t BF4; the pace and playstyle are different. And of course, specially city maps are tough for armor because people can be everywhere. But you can still be smart about the game.
I run tanks and APCs all the time—good KDs, no problem.
I also agree repair stations need improvement—some placements are awkward. When your tank is heavily damaged and no engineer is nearby, you have to pull back to a repair station. Giving tanks full self-repair or instant reloads would make gameplay too spammy and unbalanced.
Bottom line: vehicles can still dominate when used smartly, but you have to play with your team and stay aware. Different playstyles lead to different results. And my results are showing atleast ground vehicles are more than fine. They are good!
above tank, below apc. from today. and this happens often, not one time shine moments.
Thx for ur experience.
The mode I currently play most is Breakthrough. Based on my experience so far, the strength of the apcs is acceptable, but the tank remains overly weak. The splash damage of the main cannon is too low. C4 is not the threat; the real threat comes from RPGs.
When a tank and infantry enter the objective point together, the tank easily becomes a priority target. The lack of APS and reactive armor means the tank cannot effectively clear enemy infantry within the objective point. The tank's mobility is extremely poor.
Additionally, DICE seems to have mistakenly applied controller aiming curves to mouse and keyboard, resulting in very strange aiming feel for the tank in first-person view.
Like you, I have also achieved good results using vehicles on Liberation Peak and Cairo. However, this success is excessively dependent on team coordination. Furthermore, if the enemy has a squad specifically targeting you, you are forced to be a camper.
Tbh,i think kpm is most important for vehicle than kd.It reflects not only your speed in clearing infantry, but also indirectly indicates the strength of vehicle.

I noticed this also, but even in 3rd person. I'm pretty sure it was auto attaching to enemies without having to move my mouse.
