Thoughts on the bf6 beta

Overall – Loved the game. I’ve been playing Battlefield games for years now and have probably logged well over 1,000 hours (apart from BF 2042).

So, BF6 – overall, loved the game! Gameplay is really solid, time-to-kill is great, visuals are great, destruction is good. With that said, I’m not slating the game, but here’s what I would change:

Resupply stations – Don’t make these for vehicles only; also allow infantry to get ammo from them.

Peek mechanic – Needs improvement. I could rarely get it to trigger, and only when not aiming down sights, which isn’t very useful.

RPG damage – Damage is good, but increase the splash radius against infantry.

Aim-down-sights sensitivity – Add an option to lower sensitivity when aiming down sights.

Mapps – need bigger ones even the mountain one had barely any flanks

World obstructions stopping bullets – Examples: wood stopping tank shots, or barbed wire stopping sniper rounds (very frustrating when sniping).

Grenade animation – The current animation feels clunky. Maybe keep the quick toss, but also add a proper throw and the ability to cook grenades.

Tanks – Tank splash damage should be increased. For example, if someone is hiding behind a pillar and you shoot the wall, it should still deal damage. It currently doesn’t. You also rarely get damage on the engineer repairing the enemy tank. Damage to tanks feels inconsistent – usually a flat 25 damage apart from the occasional one-hit kill (I’m still unsure exactly where to aim for that). BFV had a much better system for this, and something like that would be an improvement.
