Some thoughts on weapon attachments system improvement

IMO, the 100 point limit makes no sense. Why can't a player have all the attachments he wants on his gun? Does that look 'realistic'? I don't think so. I believe, the player should have an option to put as many attachments on his gun, as it's able to have technically. The 100 point limit should be removed completely and the attachment cost either. However, the attachments unlock cost should be increased much higher. The current attachments unlock cost seems to be too little, so almost all the attachments unlock after achieving 17 gun mastery level. I personally unlocked all the attachments for an M433 AR after about just a couple hours of playing in BF6, so it feels too fast progress, IMO. I believe any new attachment should be unlocked for achieving +10 gun mastery level at least. That would make the game progress more challenging and interesting, while rewarding the most skilled and patient players.

If they took away all points for attachments then there would be no reason to not use a 200rnd mag for the LMG for example. Why not always used the MP7 Suppressor that reduces recoil. Balance is the reason why. If we could use them all everyone would use the best in slot all the time. Now you have to trade. The LMG can have great accuracy but lower ammo. If you want more ammo you are sort of forced into using less recoil management. A idea could be to nerf all attachments or give them more drawbacks so we cant stack recoil on recoil but that will require a rework in most guns.

I agree that we got attachments fast. IMO i think it is good. If the grind is high people will probably get bored for not geting anything new or people would enter bot games to farm them anyway. People did this in 2042.

Its a double edged sword. Even more so if we have free attachments, that would imply that people who have played less will be at a great disadvantage. Its not a MMORPG were your weapon lvl should be a huge factor in your success.

I do agree that we could push mastery a bit higher. Maybe 30 or 50 with camo or some really niche attachments. M417 could get DMR rounds or something like that. This incentivises progression without putting new players at a disadvantage.
