The biggest complain I have with the game is that it's way too fast paced to feel like a true Battlefield. It literally feels like it tries to be like COD, maybe to attract more of the unhappy COD players, but it also loses it's spirit and character of a true Battlefield game. I played a bit of Bf4 today when the servers for 6 were down and even that one felt slower than this.
Feels like the game is COD with some elements form older BF titles to appease to the Bf fans...
Also, too much is happening on the screen at once and the maps although beautiful, are a bit too small and compacted to have that Battlefield feel (but maybe those are just the smaller maps).
Yeah it seems way to fast paced dying is way too fast feels like I’m playing hardcore mode on BF4 and I’m hoping they are just showing the small maps and all the other ones we haven’t seen are more vehicle oriented feels weird fighting on a map with 2 ifvs and 2 tanks. Only seeing like one or two the whole game because most of the flags you can’t reach in a vehicle or you have to put yourself in a kill box where someone can just toss c4 from any of the 87 windows above the tank
Yeah, it’s even faster than call of duty, which I played a lot of of the last seven years.. I played several hours of the beta today and it’s literally like playing hard-core. no thanks. lol . You don’t even have time to turn on someone to even fire back. So there’s not gonna be any gun fights . . . It comes down to who sees who first and then, instant death. Also promotes more camping and window campers because the time to kill is less than 200 ms. Nobody asked for this. Or everyone turned into a CDL pro level accuracy, player overnight that doesn’t miss a single bullet. lol
Played the BF6 beta last night, as someone who has dumped 1900 hours into BF1 I found the TTK way too fast in BF6, granted I'm no spring chicken anymore but I just didn't enjoy my time in the game at all, I was excited to get to play it early but was really disappointed, love the franchise making a return but didn't anticipate really small maps and super fast conquest matches, it felt heavy and slow for ADS but the sheer pace of TTK was something more akin to COD which makes me wonder, there's no real reason to have lots of wonderful looking equipment add ons because you simply won't have the reaction time to deploy any of it to the extend of who really cares about loadouts if the TTK is this fast?. Even grasping for your secondary seems pointless. Constantly respawning in just fractured the game experience for me, it was repetitive and it just wasn't fun, I went back to BF1 last night for the breather.
Current TTK is largely how hardcore mode was in the previous iterations, at least for auto weapons (DMRs didnt get the memo about an update and thus they suxx). And HC was a very specific mode, that should never be ported into main game -while I liked to play HC from time to time, this TTK makes any small map a chore to play in the long run.
Automatic weapons need a solid 150-200ms added to kill without headshots
I am not a skilled player in any way and have hopped on from COD. I started playing the "Intro" mode and and it was fun, I could get some kills and also got killed a good amount of the time. Actually winning the end game happened a hand full of times simply because everyone was running and gunning. Then I hit level 15 and "intro" mode was gone. The experience after that was miserable. Within seconds of a match starting or spawning into a game in play I would be killed to only spawn with spawn campers waiting. Snipers were ridiculous, it reminded me of COD and the thousands of glints beaming down on me. And none of them missed. Try to run or sneak around a corner, nope, opponents pop up, no audio cue and one shot killed.
I really hope that it was just first come first server when filling up cues and no match making was implemented in any way because someone at my skill level will not be able to enjoy the game or get a chance to get good at it.
