TTK/Pacing (Should we be distance shooting with SMGs???)
I know Battlefield Studios has put a ton of thought into all this, but as a long time player, just some thoughts.
Everything feels very lethal at the moment, and not necessarily in a good way. About ttk, but I think the issue is less how quickly it takes to kill somebody, and more. Just how far away you're getting killed by people who aren't snipers. Possible solution; lower accuracy across the board at range for non-distance weapons, and raise recoil to something closer to the bf3 model, where tap shooting was absolutely necessary to hit anything from a distance with an assault rifle. Make hitting things from a distance with a non-DMR/Sniper harder to master.
I mean, I was confidently engaging enemies from a 100 meters away with the SMX, that's...not good lol.
Pacing
Everything feels slightly too fast and hectic right now. For the size of the maps, I think movement speed could use some toning down, something more steady and rhythmic and less explosive. (Something closer to BF3, BF1, BFV, etc.) Movement currently reminds me of Titanfall: a great game, but not Battlefield.
I think all actions should be slightly slower, as well. Reloading, particularly.
