What DICE/EA going to do about cheaters? Since happening in beta already

I just like to know what EA/DICE plan is for dealing with  people who need buy hacks to play a online game . Already been shown it happening in beta , videos out there showing wall hacks being use .Which didn't take long at all , I'm not really shock at this point with gaming companies and their bad anti system.

I won't be buying the game and it going to hurt the image more along with 2042(though that had cheaters also but not main reason for downfall of BF ) outcome .  Never felt like it in bf3-4 and seem rare when someone did , I know bf4 had a minor issue with it at one point . I know it going on in BFV , as I watch someone doing circle look and stop at viewing in east and kill me when I was south of them lol .

I rather die to skill players , then to hackers . Lease then I can get better and learn , Like I did in bf3 -4.

I had hope , high hope for a moment in beta  and 8-8-25 change everything ,notice wallhack video out there from youtube/ tiktok main source it seem .

  • Cheating is inevitable in an online game and especially in a beta. Devs can only do so much without completely invading players privacy and fighting cheating is most of the time a reactive battle.

Bf3 and bf4 also had plenty of issues with cheaters as well and if you open battlelog (yes it still exist) and read the forums, most threads are about cheating. Fair fight wasnt exactly the top of the anti cheating tools either. I think you just have forgotten.

This beta is not better nor worse than any previous title but the net code in the beta is not great so many deaths feels like something is off when its not. Turn on performance graph showing damage stats and you will see many (most) times you are hit where the netcode is having delta tick issues. Result is that you feel it as one shot or shot after you get into cover when you in fact was shot by 3-4 shots before you got into cover.

If it bothers you so much then the best solution would be to stick with single player games. No cheating there at least.

  • Even if it's as you say, it's frustrating to constantly die on the floor. Netcode or not, it doesn't matter to me.
But it doesn't matter anymore. The frustration is already palpable after a few hours, and that's why I probably won't buy the game for now. I think since EA and DICE were happy about every player who played 2042, they only banned a few. And once the image is ruined, the "normal" players won't want to play anymore. Because after every death, you think: cheater.
