What is the point in recon.

This is so goddamn annoying that battlefield 6 is set up to progress classes but how the hell can you progress recon if there is a stupid spot light on you when you aim. Maybe its just me but I know it isn't. It's so **bleep**ing annoying when you try to progress a class that relies on cover and concealment and some **bleep** shoots you the second you set up to spot or aim because there's a big **bleep**ing spot light telling everyone where you are. If your going to do that for some stupid research to handicap the class then all other classes need like a drift handicap on their hit probability because I'm pretty sure it pisses players off more to get shot in the head by a lucky hip fire than it does to have a sniper hiding in the **bleep**ing bush.

I'm just saying if your going to have classes that mirror real life don't handicap them so that they can't perform their position.

  • Personally, I found the answer was more or less to only scope when you've already seen a target so you're aiming to shoot rather than explore, and also to give up on the idea of blending in and instead rely on extreme range and the largest scope. If you're 200m out, it simply doesn't matter they can see you (except other snipers) and if you're only looking for obvious targets or glint and frequently repositioning, counter-snipers will miss more often than you are.

  • Perhaps you need a telescope-like item specifically designed for spotting and marking enemies XD

That's what I tried first. Works good for spotting when you can run around after dipping in with the scope but makes sniping so **bleep** hard especially when I still have the starter rifle.
