For most people with the same graphics card as mine, the game works fine. That’s why I’m wondering if the issue might be caused by the fact that I had the game client installed both on Steam (which I’ve since uninstalled) and in the EA app (which I’m currently using), possibly creating some kind of conflict.

I downloaded the game through Steam, and it worked.

I was hoping for an update to the client and/or AMD Drivers before the next set of beta tests to see if this was fixed. Right now, its still b0rked. I've even done a full windows reset, and its still b0rked.

I've been getting a crash since last weekend and this weekend. The game runs perfectly well until it freezes completely and throws an error.
I have an RTX 4070 Ti Super.
It happens consistently during every match. I'll post the exact error soon, but the main error code is "DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED". It says my graphics device has been physically removed, or that there is a driver update.
Some of the steps I've tried (I may have forgot some):
- Reinstall GPU drivers
- Downgrade GPU drivers to previous version
- Update GPU VBIOS
- Disabled iGPU
- Turned off all Motion Blur, disabled Screen Space AO & GI, enabled VSYNC, limited FPS, turned off any Frame Gen, DLSS and Nvidia Reflex settings, and turned off Anti-Aliasing
- Verify file integrity after changing any settings
- Made sure resizable BAR is enabled and correctly utilising bar sizes
Have I missed any steps? Anyone else getting this issue as well?

No removing of the GPU and no new driver to install.
The game visuals and sound where lagging the round of conquest before the crash. It felt real laggy.
Last week I could play without real problems with lag.

Steam install doesn't work for me. Nor does anything else that seems reasonable.
Anyone found a workaround?

Same issue here with the same card. I installed with steam. The error only happens for me once I’ve increased my graphics settings to anything other than low, which they are automatically set to.
The only thing that has allowed me to play the game after changing my graphics settings is to go to the game’s documents folder and rename the settings file (I renamed it “settings.old”) which results in a fresh “settings” file being generated which defaults to auto graphics settings. So it kinda sucks because I can only play the game in potato mode.
