They really need a failsafe that works with other popular games’ anti-cheats. Getting banned just because another anti-cheat like Faceit is running in the background is plain stupid. There should at least be a notice before the game starts that tells you there’s a conflict and shows you exactly what it is, not thousands of players getting punished for something that’s not even their fault. EA’s own anti-cheat feels half-baked, if it can’t even handle common programs without false bans, that’s a problem. No wonder the ban numbers they publish are so high when so many people are getting hit unfairly. Judging by how many game bugs there are and all the weird anti-cheat issues, you really have to wonder if they even test this stuff before release.
