I play with cross-platform off on ps5. They Dsync and delays are still there just not as bad. I noticed that anything above 12 players makes this much worse.
I played casual breakthrough last night and when I shoot players they die. Sometimes my shots get lost in the server but not nearly as bad with a full server.
Sometimes I have noticed that if your shooting and enemy player that has Dsync and packet loss they will eat rounds with no damage. My friend was on they enemy team. I was shooting him with the NVO he said he has the two icons on the top left of the screen.
So we sat off and tested it. When that yellow icon showed on his side I would shot him and he would tank the shots.
So if a player can force they Dsync packet loss. "Download something in the background " they will have the upper hand. Kinda like a lag switch.
I am finding the game boring now because it's no longer skill just random if the server decides that your rounds will hit or not. Or you got the players you shoot first and they 180 and kill you in 0.01. Then the busted guns. You ads faster and get the first few shots just to lose the 1v1 because his gun shots faster 🙄. If you are not using and smg you are just shooting yourself in the foot.
Big issue for me with console players is that aim assists its almost aimbot once you learn the sensitivity. I had yo turn it down to 50% made me feel dumb the game would aim for you. And the cronus zen players I feel like 75% console players use the cronus zen. I know some players that use it and still not banned. Like get gud.
I feel like matchmaking is busted. If I play with cross-platform on I always get matched up in lobbys full of PC players. There will be maybe 5 or 6 console players
