Re: I was just banned in BF6

Not sure who decided to merge my previous post into another thread, but please don't do that again. It completely buries the topic. Thanks in advance. 🙏

So it's been 11 days since Battlefield 6 launched, and hundreds of legitimate players are still locked out of the game because of what appears to be false bans triggered by the anti-cheat system.
Many of these players are long-time supporters, some even playtesters, parents, and veterans who've spent thousands of hours across every Battlefield title. Yet here we are, banned without explanation, with empty penalty histories and only automated replies telling us to "open a new case".

I'm not asking for miracles, just acknowledgment.

Why can't EA simply say: "We see the issue and we're investigating."?
That alone would already show respect for the community.

There's a top-voted bug report with hundreds of replies and upvotes, and still no visible engagement from the official team. People are frustrated not only because of the bans, but because of the silence.

To make things even more absurd, I currently have an open case that's been sitting in a "Waiting on Player" status. Yet when I try to submit my reply, I get the message: "This issue isn't supported by advisors."
I mean... what? How is anyone supposed to respond to that? It's honestly ridiculous.

If certain software is known to trigger false detections, then please communicate it cleary, even a small startup warning like "This software may interfere with Battlefield 6's anti-cheat" would prevent so much confusion and disappointment.
To be clear, I'm not talking about cheating tools. I'm talking about common, harmless programs that millions of gamers simply have installed on their PCs, things like Logitech G HUB, MSI Afterburner, RGB lightning software etc.
If the anti-cheat system mistakenly flags those, the least EA could do is warn players before banning them.

Also for those jumping in with "haha, one less cheater" comments, please stop.

This isn't just about a few accounts, it's about trust. When players can't even feel safe logging into a new Battlefield after supporting the franchise for years, something is seriously wrong.

King regards,
Lev - still your loyal (and currently banned) customer. 🙂

I'm with you Lev! And aside from the "This issue isn't supported by advisors." bug, I'm in the same exact boat - no penalty, appeal denied, and no communication.

I'm making a bigger post about the following, but just wanted to add: I took it up with the Better Business Bureau and submitted a complaint, and twice EA sent the same (word for word) canned response about how I need to take it up with the ToS team.

Unreal. I just want to play with my friends.

Bump, same boat. Finally transferred about an hour ago so we shall see what comes from it. Glad im not the only one who is dealing with this lengthy (and probably not worth) fight with EA about falsely banning players. If you don't mind me asking, didn't EA go through this before with another game; banning people without reason?

As I've seen on the forum and Reddit, it was the same with the previuos Battlefield and now during the beta as well. However this is what bothers and annoys me right now. ^

Did you ever find out if people were unbanned in the previous Battlefield?

Look, they just merged my article with this one again, even though I asked them not to do that again in the first line... 🤣
Anyway, to answer your question, yes. I asked several of them. Those who were banned in the beta are still waiting for a response. I also contacted several players who received the same false ban in BF2042, and I have received responses from two of them so far, both of whom gave up on communication after appealing over and over again, and not receiving a proper response after several months.
