Additional Customized Loadout Slots

Hello,

I enjoy that there are a lot of options available to us in BF6, but we just do not have enough loadout slots to easily move between presets for the different maps, and situations we find ourselves in. I understand I am speaking for myself here, so I'll define what I mean a bit more.

As a Support main, I really enjoy leaning into LMGs - even with their many issues. However, I have come to accept that there are simply too many situations that require me to play a different way that are incompatible for what I need to do - So I use a different class of weapon, in combination with the gadgets and grenades that synergize well with my intentions for that Loadout.  When I need to become a Lifeline Medic who defibs everyone, I need a weapon thats faster on the draw. When I need to use my smokes to create space for my team to push, I need a weapon with a under-barrel that synergizes well with the smoke launcher. When I need to Hold a area, I need something put the hurt out. 

The reality I found in my zealous attempt to only use LMGs have enlightened my to better options suited to what my tools really do, and what weapons might work best with that! 3 Loadouts are just not enough, and considering the fact that we are going to be getting more gadgets, more Training paths... I dont want to spend 3 mins configuring my loadout for a situation that will have changed by the time im done. I need my smg for The Defibs because of its response time and versatility. I need the M4 because it works best with my smokes while having the Underslung barrel. I need that shotgun to follow up on enemies I push out with Fire or combat in smokes for my helpless dying teammates, and I am sure the problem will get worse. It would be nice if we could extend the loadout count to at least 5. 

I get the game has a lot of problems now, with its imbalances here and there, but this is just food for thought. The season pass is coming, and I am sure it wont be long before we get the next specializations.  Would it take that much to sprinkle in a few more loadout slots?

anyway thats my 2 cents. I hope this sounds reasonable and low effort to the Devs and the community. Enough to implement it sooner rather than later. Its not a hard need, but the game certainly promotes a lot of weapons, and only a few slots to use them. Just add a little plus sign under loadout 3 - then have you scroll down for the 4 + loadout, or extend the count upward. There is plenty of room in the UI. I know  not everyone comes at this game with Tactical stuff in mind, but I do, and I hope to see support for all the other players that do too. \

    Agree.

    I generally want at least three loadouts for any normal weapon:

    1. Balanced recoil reducing weapon set (flash hider or linear comp, 6h64 vertical, proj velocity barrel, maybe an increased mag, 2x scope, laser)
    2. Close range/hipfire (high cap mag, big laser)
    3. Thermal Scope + Suppressor

    I'd like a fourth one so I could have an experimental setup without needing to ruin another. Many of my guns I don't have two, let alone three.

    Also the gun loadouts presets should be on the main spawn menu as well as your class presets. So you can change presets and then change what gun you're using with that preset quickly.

  • Thats a pretty good concept! That would make loadouts more flexible for sure. Then having favorites would have my use, aside from just quick access for customization.
