Sierra_SE Look below, the player TheRock1999 wrote some good ideas for balancing artillery. If the game developers follow Rock's ideas, then there will be no problem adding artillery to the game
- Sierra_SE2 months agoNew TravelerHello again, - I've reviewed the list and it still disregards the vehicle supply point that is in the main base.
- Limiting firing range seems to me to defeat the purpose of artillery in the first place.
- Requiring spotters/drones/laser designation means there would have to be teamplay involved, specifically someone would have to choose those gadgets and then actually use them. I'm not saying it's not a cool idea, just that it doesn't seem fitting for a Battlefield game.
- Limiting deployment to specific zones seems to be contradictory to the whole purpose of the artillery being mobile in the first place.
- Balanced Damage and Targeting is a given if this at all gets included in the game.
- Team Oriented Mechanics - Definitely should favour team coordination, but we're playing Battlefield, not Arma or Squad or Hell Let Loose where people have that kind of mindset.
 It seems to me that this is just too much effort to be worthwhile to implement.
