Adrenaline Injector is not a good tool and a bad challenge

The adrenaline injector is pretty worthless to begin with; it doesn't really do enough to make it worth using. In fact, it's so negligible that I generally don't ever use it. Then there is the challenge to unlock a spawn beacon. A really important, useful piece of kit to help squad play.

The tracking on the challenge seems to be broken, or the window for getting the kill is so small that it takes forever. Of late, it doesn't seem like they are counting at all. It's not fun and gets the player killed a bunch of times as well.

So the easiest way to do it is to look for a community XP server that has bots and cheat it like that. Come on, EA, this is such a great version of Battlefield, get rid of this stupid challenge, especially for such an important part of kit. Have the injector get unlocked by using the spawn beacon. Have the Spawn beacon unlock from <gulp>, taking objectives! and encouraging team/ squad play.

Adrenaline injector is garbage, the challenge is not fun, and it's a piece of kit that will encourage team play. Please fix this.

  • I felt this way also man, but I begrudgingly will say that after slogging through and completing the challenge, it actually gave me some appreciation and instilled the muscle memory or training or whatever that now I actually find myself using it even after completing the challenge.  And yeah this is actually how challenges should operate, as a way to challenge you to play differently with the added bonus of making you more adept at a mechanic that is available to you that you otherwise haven't been using. Definitely makes more sense than many random **bleep** challenges that don't serve any purpose other than had to think of something.

    I also think that its still underpowered, but after completing the challenge and using it for awhile, you will start to notice not having it when playing other classes.  It can come in pretty clutch when you are trying to break into objective points through defenses, or hold hold an area from infiltrators. Definitely pairs nicely with the shotgun.

    Just my two cents, hang in there and hopefully you will get some enjoyment out of it in the near future as I did. And also EA give it a little buff please! It does wear off too quickly. It would also be amazing if we were able to use smokes as assault ffs, this would synch so well.

  • Worst gadget so far imo.  Forget the spawn beacon not worth running around for hours injecting a syringe and hoping you get a kill in 2 seconds 30 TIMES!

    Even though I will stick up for it a little, it definitely is the worst gadget comparatively. If the effect timer were doubled though, maybe even tripled, it might start to be good.

    That being said, it does give an advantage, even if small, and I think its a good idea to take advantage of it and getting used to using it if you are playing assault. Especially if they end up buffing it you will already be a step ahead.

    Hopefully threads like these will eventually lead to a buff or rework. Between how weak this gadget is and the restriction of smoke grenades to support, has really put a damper on assault imo.
