Yes, it is not hard to do. I am mainly a mouse and keyboard player, and I tested the aim assist in this game with a xbox controller on PC. You can clearly feel how it sticks to your target. The slowdown effect is way too strong.. it is even hard to pull your crosshair away from the target.
This combined with the reduced recoil on controller makes controller by far the best input.
The aim assist really needs to be toned down. It could be nerfed by 50% and it would still be good. Yes, I tested all aim-assist settings on 50%, that feel more inline with what I would expect from a balanced aim assist. The reduced recoil for controller also needs to be addressed.
Controller players should also have to learn how to aim.. with the current aim assist all you have to do is learn your controller sensitivity and the game basically aim for you.
I thought the developers said they wanted to go light with aim assist, what happened? Seems like they buffed aim assist after the beta? It was not this obnoxious?
"By far the best" I love absolutes from someone random opinion. lol
I say controller is by far NOT the best input, from having both, using both, and being over the age of 35. It's a mess on PS5 and I spend 20 minutes a day messing with it to feel AS GOOD as M&K.

So no, you can't fathom blaming yourself because it'll bruise your ego.

That's from someone's random opinion. I can agree that my statement is not 100% correct though, it does depend on the situation.

"Tell me your bad with controller without telling me your bad with controller"
As I said before, the aim assist in this game is very good in some situations, but it can be very frustrating in others. It really shines in 1v1 gunfights where your opponent is trying to shoot you back.
It is a good thing for both m&k and controller players that they address this and is looking at a way to balance both aim assist and (removing) the reduced recoil, as they said they will. Looking forward to see how it feels after the balance update.
