What are you talking about? If you press "request revive" then the timer is not 8 seconds it is like over 30 seconds if you fully wait it out.
8 seconds is the base wait, BEFORE you press request. And I literally just played a few games of conquest and let myself time out, it's not 30 seconds total, you get about 8 more seconds. So total is about 16 seconds, times ten is 160, that's 2.6 minutes.

So, the time it takes to get to respawn is the same 8 seconds you could have waited without pressing a request. It's meant to be the same, as an incentive to wait.
Also, you have no idea if you are going to get right back into the fight in many cases. Unless something is both blue and contested or one of your squad mates is well positioned, you could just as well find yourself a long way away from the action. I can't tell you how many times I'm looking at the screen and have no good option, especially on large maps. I tend to tap out quick only if I know an obj just started being contested, because I know I can spawn on it and help defend.

They only care about achieving good kd so that makes them look good. That is why I want to see people saved their kd by getting revived or actually good.
I guess you typed a bit fast there at the end, but I get the gist. I understand what you're trying to achieve but you are trying to be coercive with players who don't really engage with the core of the game. Doing so, you punish those that do: if a player keeps close to their team mates, fights with them for an obj, get revived a couple of times and keeps going... I would want that rewarded rather than punished.
Ultimately, players go where the game design takes them. If players who are only interested in KDR still play with the rest of the team because they want revives, that's actually a win. There's really no reason to be bitter about their stats, this is not a competitive shooter.
