I do not play Redsec so I do not know how bad the cheating is, but there are many YouTube videos complaining of cheaters. For those of you who play Redsec, do you notice if it's more of a M&K user cheating, or controller user? What about the platform they're playing on, PC or console? Just curious.
Hopefully things will improve for y'all soon. It's a shame we have to deal with these idiots in our games.
I play PS5 crossplay off and just finished Endurance challenge for wins---have not come across a clear cheater in all that time playing.
I've played both redsec and multiplayer. There are cheaters every now and then. It comes in waves and are pretty predictable. Usually when there is patch, the number of cheaters I encounter is minimal. After a few days, cheats go back online. This is pretty normal in many of the FPS games I've played. Same pattern in COD/CS/etc. I've seen both cheaters on PC and Console since you get to watch the players that kill you play after your squad loses. It'd be great if BF6 implemented kill cams so that there is less ambiguity when reporting a player. Not to defend EA/DICE here, but cheaters are all in FPS games unfortunately and the patterns are no different than any other FPS game I've played.
