Anti-Cheat Is Useless – Cheaters Everywhere
Battlefield Redsec could actually be a good game. The graphics are solid, the maps have a nice atmosphere, and the core gameplay is enjoyable. Unfortunately, the experience is completely ruined by cheaters. Almost every other match you run into players who are clearly using speed hacks, wall hacks, or other cheats. They move at unrealistic speeds, track you perfectly through walls, and give you absolutely no chance. That’s not skill — it’s just frustrating. The BR casual mode is somewhat playable and makes the game more enjoyable. However, the fact that you can only play as a duo is a joke. It would be much better if you could play in quads as well. Not everyone wants or can always play with a partner, so this restriction makes the experience unnecessarily limited. The biggest problem is the anti-cheat system. Right now it feels completely useless, or like nobody is actually monitoring it. Cheaters play openly, and there are no consequences. The reporting system is also ineffective — either you can’t properly report players, or nothing happens after reporting. The game has potential, but until cheating is seriously addressed, it’s very hard to enjoy. Something needs to change, because in its current state, the game is more disappointing than fun.
