Any PC smarties out here?

Guys,

RTX 4060 CPU 5700x 32ram settings graphically on auto and Performance for GPU anything else input lag is terrible on mouse and keys,

My question is: pre match loading rakes 3-4 minutes on every game not only that when Im loaded in people have 7 kills or matches is well under way on new games I only play breakthrough or conquest, game loads where I have no gun or white screen takes more than a minute to settle down complete disgrace.

Spending more time on loading screens than anything 2042 I could stream, I could multi task, it feels like throttling all over the place my PC can easily handle this game but unfortunately feels really poorly optimised lagging across menu and takes so long to process anything any help to make things smoother woukd be great

Since there's not a ton of information that you've given us, there's a couple of things I'd like to recommend, just to rule things out.

The first thing I would try is change is setting all the graphics to low and see if that improves the situation. If that helps, you can gradually increase your graphics until you find the performance/graphics that you're happy with. Some users are reporting VRAM issues, so especially try out lowering the texture quality.

The second thing I would check is whether CPU, GPU, RAM or VRAM is at full capacity in the task manager. Also check you have enough diskspace left on the SSD where you installed your operating system and the SSD where you installed Battlefield. If there's no diskspace that could throttle things as well. If you find yourself at 80%+ CPU load, you may want to try out the CPU fix video by GhostGaming on YouTube.

The third thing I would check is whether my drivers are up to date and whether there's any other non-essential applications that take up too much CPU/RAM.

Thanks for the reply,  my PC on task manager doesn't seem to be maxing out seems stable GPU CPU, also I have been playing with all settings sett it to low doesn't do anything, The in game menu setting gpu or graphics setting doesnt match lobby menu to in game? When im in the menu setting it to low then in game its all pumped up to higher then the menu,  As mentioned changing up the settings just makes it worse, performance and auto seem to work but FPS dropping and freezing is terrible this is the only BF game I've had this experince its terrible.

  • Very strange loading times. Here it loads really fast.... something around 5 seconds in a simple sata ssd.  I'm running on a R7 5700x | rx 6800xt | 16gb @3600mts. The game runs fine and feels decently optimized at 4k w/ fsr balanced and almost everything on ultra. Did you try to repair game files? Are you sure your ram is running on dual channel?

Have you tried closing some things down that are running on your task bar ? try closing as much as you can down and see if that helps. You have the latest video drivers i take it ? if not get the latest ones as well.
