Asking help with jets

Hello, all Battlefield pilots. I'm asking for your help, specifically, on how to achieve maximum maneuverability in a attack jet, because even at 340 km/h (184 knots), I'm rarely able to outmaneuver an enemy, and all I can do is fly back to base in the hopes that the AI anti-aircraft gun will kill them. (writed by translated. i'm not native speaker, so it's can had some missunderstandings)

  • A lot of people bind 'space bar' to 'pitch up' for faster turns ::

It sucks because in this game the only way to defend yourself against a jet behins you is to do exactly what you said, run to the base and hope the base AA takes out the jet on your tail. If you start turning, youre giving them an easy shot and because of the extremely short TTK youre dead 90% of the time, 100 if youre in an attack jet and the enemy is in a fighter. The only other thing you can try is to make them overshoot by killing your speed which is also unreliable because od the TTK.  So unfortunately your best bet is running to your base. They really need to make speed control more important and make the TTK longer.

  • With the Attack Jet, it's harder than the Fighter Jet because you have to literally slow down whilst aiming, leaving you vulnerable, especially on the smaller maps. The only way to continuously win fights with the Attack Jet is to hit your first strafe causing engine/mobility damage to the other Jet, giving you the chance to stay on target. The Fighter Jet is much easier in comparison.

And yes, the HQ AA is important to resetting the dog fight if they're tailing you.
