Assault class needs to be buffed
The adrenaline injector is by far the weakest and most useless class-defining gadget. Its duration is laughably short, and the animation to inject oneself is absurdly long. To start, I suggest to drop the part of the animation where they are tossed. Just let them let go of the injector. Even better would be to just have them work as in 2042, a self-heal, while dropping the other bonuses.
Some of the other gadgets are mostly useless for a class called assault. The breacher is totally useless as you need to know which parts are destructible to go through, and the grenade launcher is so much better to just destroy the wall so you can then shoot through. The splash damage is also so low that you almost need a direct hit for an actual kill. The incendiary shotgun is laughably weak to be locked behind so many challenges, you need 3 close-range hits for a kill, and the fire damage is so low that it barely affects anything. The thermobaric launcher has luckily been nerfed since launch, but now it's also very unlikely to help with a kill.
The ladder and spawn beacon are really the only two viable gadgets. But they barely say "assault."
My recommendations here are to either add a frag grenade launcher to the game and giving it to assault, or even better, give them access to C4. Ideally, do both. Give them multiple viable gadgets, like every other class has.
