Auto-spotting is too much
It's like shooting Doritos in a gallery. Only the recon should be allowed to auto-spot, and others should only be able to auto-spot with the SOFLAM like in Battlefield 2042.

Impossible to see a proned enemi without autospot.. So autospot is fine.
You can look for optics glare or muzzle flash. The whole point of being a sniper is to be invisible. And cover doesn’t do you any good if a sniper can see your big toe and put a dot over your head
