Yesterday I reported a player for text chat harassment and offensive lanquage, he started calling his team noobs and when some of his teammates told him to chill a bit he started making really offe...
What you saw was some guy crashing out for one game.
What EA likely saw was the last 10 games the guy had where he didn't even say anything at all.
Additionally, insulting peoples mothers is kind of the typical thing. Unless it's a threat, IE "I will do (thing) to your mother!", then there's not really a problem.
And lastly, why should using foul language be a bannable offense? Sure, it isn't professional, it can be rude and sometimes even downright childish. But who should be banned for using the "f-word" in a game that is rated 18+ and it's primary content is people killing one another?
I watched a guy tell another Spanish speaker last night that he eats at taco bell. That was probably more offensive than any "your mother" kind of joke. I will say though, it was insanely funny.
I don’t care if that guy was crashing for one game,
Making an assumption on your end, that EA checked the last 10 games just proves my point, do you know for a fact that they go back 10 games or just saying?
Typical or no typical doesn’t give that right to anyone above 18+ to behave like this and maybe foy you is not a problem but it is for others.
And lastly Painknight since according to you it shouldn’t be bannable (and don’t just focus on the f-word) that next time we meet in a lobby and I start saying things about your mother don’t report me, suck it all in and don’t say anything)
The point of this post was to show that EA bends their own rules as they see fit case by case and not have a strict policy across the board.
Now you're just crashing out.
The first point was to maybe help you realize that people accumulate stress which eventually leads to a mental breakdown. Have you never had a point in your life you got overwhelmed and made some back decisions?
The point here is this is pretty much how it has always been with online interactions. Honestly, "your mother" insults are pretty tame compared to the stuff I used to deal with before real chat filtering came into existence. You're coming into what has always been and complaining that things aren't to your liking. No one is forcing you to put up with it.
You can say whatever you want about my mother, my father, my dog, my goldfish, my car, my choice in food, that I like dewalt over ryobi, or whatever your heart desires. Heck, if you come up with a good one I'll even laugh with you.
The point of my post is that people are human and maybe you shouldn't judge them as if they were the perfect embodiment of Jesus. None of us are without fault, and we all are going to do something stupid at some point.
I like Milwaukee...
