Banned and then Denied

I have been playing Battefield since 2009. And I have had no issues at all. I ofcourse purchased and played Battlefield 6 and had a great time. I went to log on today, only to realize that I was banned for "competitive advantage". I was so confused and started to think what would cause this (anti cheat? my scuff controller?) So I filed an appeal but after waiting for hours, I found out I was denied. For what? I have honestly done nothing wrong. I am 35 years old and have 2 kids, this is my free time, when the kids are asleep, this is my "breath of fresh air" and I feel that air has been taken away. I play on through the EA app and use a Scuff controller with a USB cord, that is it. What did I do wrong?

You cheated. All you crying out foul , I have played online games for over 30 years and I have never been banned. 30 years and no bans.. I don't use programs that give me an advantage and I don't cheat. I even have WeMod installed and guess what I have never been banned just cause I have it installed or i forgot to close it. Yeah I might mod a single player game but I don't cheat cause I suck against other players. Get real... stop whining and learn to not cheat.

Plathor just because it didn't happen to you doesn't mean it doesn't happen to others.

  • Interesting topic. I had no idea what a SCUF controller was until just now.

According to the information about it, it is considered a professional level controller that gives a competitive advantage (according to the manufacturer) to the player. However, it is allowed in professional level gaming for some reason.

So, obviously, you have admitted you used a controller that gives a competitive advantage and that is exactly what you were banned for. What's the part you don't understand?

  • You think they rightfully banned him for using a "pro" controller? Youd be better off keeping your smol brain takes for yourself because you are making yourself look hella dumb.

It has buttons on the back that I use because I cannot physically use the triggers. I lost both index fingers when deployed so this allows me to play. I have been using it for years.

Again, how does someone without index fingers play with a controller then? Buttons on the back give a competitive advantage because I cannot physically use the triggers or bumpers? I highly doubt the controller is the reason.

  • Do you use anything attached between your controller and your pc? No software to "tweak" your experience? Reshade or anything that injects stuff into the game? It can't be random, dude. haha

  • The saddest thing is that Chinese players bought hundreds of thousands of copies of Battlefield 6 in China, but Chinese players don't have their own servers and can only play the game through VPNs. In this process, it is impossible to have a stable IP address, and the constant change of VPN nodes is recognized as abnormal by the official system, leading to bans. I experienced this myself. We have established a community where hundreds of people discuss issues related to China, hoping that EA will pay attention to this issue and value Chinese players. Thank you.
