Banned and then Denied

I have been playing Battefield since 2009. And I have had no issues at all. I ofcourse purchased and played Battlefield 6 and had a great time. I went to log on today, only to realize that I was banned for "competitive advantage". I was so confused and started to think what would cause this (anti cheat? my scuff controller?) So I filed an appeal but after waiting for hours, I found out I was denied. For what? I have honestly done nothing wrong. I am 35 years old and have 2 kids, this is my free time, when the kids are asleep, this is my "breath of fresh air" and I feel that air has been taken away. I play on through the EA app and use a Scuff controller with a USB cord, that is it. What did I do wrong?

Update: Ban was overturned only to be banned again the next week 🥴

i just got the game first time playing battlefield i tried mouse and keyboard isn't for me so i looked for a list of banned controllers or a list of approved controllers just so i don't have any issues and i can't find anything i have no issue with ea sports banning cheats but i don't want be labeled a cheat because i purchased a controller that they won't give me a heads-up that it won't work with their game if that's how they operate kind of wish i hadn't purchased their game

With the way people are playing today, and the amount of "banned" threads popping up. People are cheating lol.
