Banned for using overlays? -10/10 Anti-cheat

Question

They just banned my account for 'gameplay enhancements'. Are Nvidia app and Discord overlays considered cheat software ? The ban started on Oct 30.I made an appeal and after 3 days, everything they responded was a bot message:

'We got your note and did a full investigation of your account. After reviewing your case, we determined that we took the correct action in accordance with EA policies and procedures.

What this means

We have confirmed that your account was involved in cheating. Because of this, we will not remove the sanction on your account.' 🤡
Made the second appeal. 12 days have passed and no response.
If I'd cheated,I would have been on the penalty list so please don't say something dumb like 'cheater', 'busted' ,...

Did they ever unban you? I literally face&nbsp; the same issue but in Battlefield 1.

What's your BF/EA name? Can we look at your stats?&nbsp; I use Nvidia overlay for recording games.&nbsp;&nbsp;

How do you suppose wall hacks are displayed? An overlay. That's why overlays get you banned. A malicious person uses an existing overlay and modifies it to display wall hacks. Then, people who use that overlay eventually get banned; because there is no other way to tell if you are using that overlay maliciously or not.

Don't use overlays.
