you have to keep the EA overlay on and turn off all the other ones. I believe I got shadowblocked once. I had to contact EA customer live chat explain them the situation. Then turn on my EA overlay. and I was able to connect again. I then got prompted to verify my email afterwards. Which was probably the EA rep triggering something on my account.
Right now I'm perma banned for toxic chat, which of course is rooted in complaining about cheaters ironically lol. And I don't even have the ability to contact ea. They deemed it as glorifying violence, because I said to the trolls in game chat they probably wanted ck me instead muting the chat. So for that i'm gone, when I was the victim in that analogy. And its sad, cause unlike the cheaters, who are way more toxic then me, when I'm just a normal guy who always played sports in the park and am a grown adult man, I'm not gonna jump through hoops to come back to the gamel, when the cheater spend another 50 bucks and comes right back. So every year, they become more and more the majority of the playerbase in a dead industry. Because you can't ban cheaters, You only ban innocent people. And its wild how for years the industry keeps pretending otherwise like people are stupid.
The only real solution is dedicated servers with good admins to segregate players. A real segregation not this fake undermined mmr we have in games now. But the woke mentality is very anti sport and tells themselves that is immoral, and they enable these players to undermine competitive matchups. That is the revelation i'm now coming to after 20 years. I've always defended the game companies saying they can't stop it its not their fault, but now I realize, they purposely enable it because of their political ideology.
I don't think online gaming has a future. 50k world wide with crossplay. versus dedicated servers with a million in NA alone just on pc in my day. and it just keeps getting worse.
