Battlefield 6 – Aiming and movement feel worse than in Beta - suggestions
Hey EA/DICE team,
After spending many hours in both the BF6 Beta and the full release, I noticed some big differences in how the game feels, especially when using a controller on PS5.
In the Beta:
- Aiming felt much smoother and more responsive
- Camera movement reacted instantly to the analog stick
- Aim Assist was more predictable and helped tracking targets naturally
Now, in the release version:
- Aiming feels heavier and slightly delayed, like there’s extra input lag
- The crosshair doesn’t follow fine analog movements as smoothly as before
- It’s harder to keep aim on moving targets, especially during ADS tracking
It would be great if you could revisit the aiming and movement tuning from the Beta — many players agree it simply felt better back then.
Other feedback and suggestions:
- Weapon and character leveling feels way too slow. The progression curve could use a speed boost, especially early on, so players can unlock attachments and gadgets at a more rewarding pace.
- Kill replay / death cam – please consider adding a short replay after death (like in older BF titles or CoD). It could be skippable, but it would make the experience more dynamic and help players learn from engagements.
The game has amazing potential — it just needs that Beta-level responsiveness and a few QoL improvements.
Thanks for reading and for keeping Battlefield alive!
