If you redeemed a code for Battlefield Coins in the EA app, you’ll need to launch Battlefield 6 through the EA app for the coins to show up in-game.
The same applies if you redeemed a code on Steam -- you need to launch the game through the platform where the code was redeemed for the content to appear. Redeeming something on one launcher and expecting it to automatically show up when launching through another, unfortunately, isn’t how it works, even though the game itself supports cross-platform play.
