No, the game should be fun, smoke spam has been bad enough lately and you want the effect extended...

It will make any choke point unplayable.

Look, your idea is obviously based on one person popping smoke, now when you have 10 players all popping smoke and it lingers that long and they keep popping smoke it goes beyond causing confusion, it completely ruins the gameplay.
