The biggest issue is that BF6 gameplay often looks almost indistinguishable from BF4, or even BF3 at times. When the community asked for a game “in the spirit of BF3 and BF4,” we weren’t asking for outdated visuals or strange filters that make everything look artificial.
Not only that it isn't the biggest issue, but the biggest plus, in my book. I am not sure what exactly the community asked, but BF6 is "in the spirit of BF3 and BF4" in my opinion. The visuals are alright and I certainly wouldn't say outdated, after playing the beta.
I get that a lot of players are just happy to have a “classic Battlefield” again, but I was expecting a real evolution in both gameplay and visuals. It feels like the dev team still struggles to understand what the community actually wants.
Yes, I am happy to have the classic Battlefield back again and that's exactly what I actually wanted, as a part of the community. ;)
You guys are so desperate for anything that even remotely resembles BF3 or BF4 that you’ll praise whatever comes along. Ask anyone who actually works in game development and they’ll tell you straight up: BF6’s graphics are a downgrade compared to Battlefield 1 and Battlefield 5.
The game doesn’t feel next-gen at all — the visuals look way too similar to older titles.
But of course, for those who’ve been craving something that reminds them of BF3 and BF4, anything can feel like a masterpiece, right? Haha

What platform / setup did you play on? I’m just curious, because on my pc on ultra settings it was dope as hell.

I said "the visuals are alright", by what I meant that it possibly isn't a huge leap forward, but certainly also not a step backwards and most importantly - it runs very well in all conditions. A claim that BF6 looks the same as BF3 or BF4 as you mentioned in another reply is simply a nonsense - maybe non-gamers don't see any difference, but to gamers the differences are very obvious. I would agree that on some maps the color-grading should be toned down a little bit, though.
But to use your tone, then of course, for those who have been craving to criticize something, anything can feel like a garbage, right? ;)
In any case, as I said before - I am satisfied with the direction BF6 has, how it looks, how it sounds and most importantly, how it plays and I will certainly have fun after the game's release. - Lancelot_du_Lac7 months agoSeasoned Ace
I don't know anyone in game development - do you? Who?

Joca-Ramiro You are beginning to sound like a troll with comments such as "You guys are so desperate for anything that even remotely resembles BF3 or BF4 that you’ll praise whatever comes along."
This begs the question of Why are you even in here.
So I take it we can assume that you won't be buying the game because it looks so terrible according to you, which again raises the point why are you even in here wailing about it.
And regarding Graphics. Remember not everyone can afford to build a new PC each time a new game comes out with super dooper graphic powers. Console players will get an even more cut down version graphic wise.
PS5 - Not Super PC with Super Ultra RTX 5080 thingy

JennyB_010 Man, what a joke! Battlefield 6’s graphics actually look worse than Battlefield 1 from 2016 running on a PS4.
It’s pretty obvious the game looks dated.
But with people like you, I can’t even point that out about a game that costs half a minimum wage where I live and looks like something straight out of 2013.- JennyB_0107 months agoSeasoned Ace
Joca-Ramiro So, You won't be buying it then !
