Battlefield 6 NEEDS high tick rate servers...
Ill keep this short and sweet.
Battlefield 2042 ran on 45 hz servers. This is unacceptable for a AAA shooter like this. THIS is part of the reason why the TTK/TTD feels so inconsistent with these games I feel. Even TARKOV runs on 60hz servers.... The tick rate is ultra important when it comes to fast paced games like this with fast TTK's.
Battlefield 6 needs to run at a MINIMUM of 60hz. Honestly IMO they should run even higher tick rates being such a powerful and rich company such as EA. If a poor Russian developer with almost no money can do it, so can EA anything less is greed.
And I don't want to hear nothing about 128 game lobbies. That is a bogus excuse. If your servers cannot handle the game mode than scrap the game mode don't downgrade the servers. Servers should always take priority here. If you cant run 128 player lobbies on 60 hz servers then I personally do not want that.
And its not just these game modes they lowered the tick rate on, they also did it to the 32v32 game modes and the 16vs16 game modes so... I don't think player count was the issue, I think EA tried to save money on the quality of the servers more than anything.
I dont say this stuff to be mean to EA or Dice. I just think going to 45 hz server tick rates was a step in the wrong direction and this needs to be changed. 60hz minimum EA 60hz
