I believe EA has already said that BF6 is set for 60hz [although I haven't seen if that holds up for the beta]. There won't be any 128 player modes either, 64 player max. So it seems like you're pushing data about 2042 towards BF6.
Its only logical to assume BF6 will have the same framework or backend problems. I mean, idk maybe its just modern gaming has me jaded. I look at it like diablo 3 and diablo 4. Sure you can change the setting the tone, but often times these companies cheap out by keep the same skeleton and just putting a new skin over it. So that has me a bit worried, because like I said BF2042 ran on low tick rate servers. And tbh, the TTK and hit reg on BF6 sometimes feels just as bad, leading me to think it also runs on 45 tick servers. But it could just be the beta who knows.
The level of interest in Battlefield doesn't compare to that of games like CS:GO or Valorant, or even other smaller tac shooters. People fundamentally don’t understand how basic those engines are. The costs associated with running a large scale game like Battlefield would be substantial, all without the corresponding prize pools and sponsorships. It’s not a viable option.
